The VI Peel is safe for all skin fitzpatricks, requires minimal downtime with visible peeling usually occurring between 3-7 days. Typically not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
You will expect some redness, skin tightness, swelling ans some level of peeling or flaking for 3-7 days commonly starting around day 3. While generally safe, some individuals may experience mild burning, itching, dryness, skin discolouration or in rare cases infection or scarring.

- Avoid direct sun exposure and apply SPF daily
- Use only the aftercare provided for 7 days then can resume normal routine
- Avoid retinoids and other active skincare until the healing is complete
- Refrain from steam rooms, saunas, hot showers, intense exercise and swimming for 7 days
This treatment is recommended every 4-6 weeks for treating active skincare until concerns like acne, hyperpigmentation or severe sun damage. For routine maintenance or collagen stimulation and long term glow every 3-4 months is ideal.
