Overview

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) contains high concentrations of platelets and powerful growth factors derived from your own blood. This PRP can be reinjected into the skin to rejuvenate and revitalise damaged areas.

The procedure accelerates and enhances tissue regeneration by stimulating new blood supply, collagen, elastin, and other components of the extracellular matrix. As a result, overall skin texture and elasticity improve significantly.

This treatment may take up to 2-3 weeks to show full effects and is available only with a doctor's prescription.

    • A thorough consult will be conducted to determine if you are a good fit for treatment.

    • Avoid blood thinners 1 week before treatment, please consult your Doctor if it is prescribed medication

    • Consuming a healthy diet and keeping hydrated leading up to your appointment is ideal.

    • Swelling, tenderness and bruising is expected after the procedure

    • Avoid exposure to prolonged sunlight, strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms and alcohol as his will increase the swelling and possibility of bruising.

    • No make up for 24 hours to allow the skin to heal over and avoid infection.

    • No active ingredients like Retinol, Retinoids, Glycolic acids should be used for 7 days

    • Solar protection should continue to be used post treatment
